Most blue light blocking glasses have a single lens for all day use. They block some blue light and that's it.
That's not enough because the problem is not the same during the day as it is at night.
These are two biologically distinct times. They require different solutions.
🌤 The Yellow Ones — for the day
During the day you need some blue light to stay alert and focused.
What you don't need is the excess that strains your eyes, gives you headaches, and leaves you with tired eyes by 5 p.m.
The yellow ones filter that excess. Without darkening your vision. Without draining your energy.
🌙 The Red Ones — for the night
At night the goal is different: for your brain to receive the signal that it is nighttime.
For that, you need to block the exact wavelengths that suppress melatonin. Not partially. Completely.
Put them on 60 or 90 minutes before going to sleep. You can continue doing what you were doing, watching TV, using your phone, whatever. Your body will start producing melatonin on its own.
No pills. No dependence. Your biology doing what it has always known how to do.
